
The Alex Duffy Fairgrounds in Watertown continue to be a home away from home for the Albany Metro Mallers as they came away victorious for the fifth straight time, downing the Revolution 35-16.
Scott Lawson threw for 286 yards on 20-30 passes and hooked up 3 times, two to Culture Branch and once to Deon Champen. Branch finished with 5 catches for 117 yards and Champen 4 catches for 72 yards. The ground game was a big factor tonight as Eddie Tranholm III carried for 89 yards a a TD and CJ Tarver added 88 yards.
Shane Sportman had another interception on the night and along with LB's Greg Woodward and Jamie Longmire shut down the Revs ground attack.
The Mallers are now 4-0 in the Northeastern Football Alliance and 6-1 overall. The Revs fall to 2-3. Albany is back on the road next weekend to face the Syracuse Shock
