Meet Jamel "J7" Lewis - Ed Rickert

Meet Jamel “J7”Lewis. Jamel is a very talented R&B singer from Schenectady. He’s currently signed on Fly to the Limit Records with his debut album hitting the shelves soon. - All Metro Maller Home Games – National Anthem @ Bleeker Stadium Albany.
We sat down with Jamel last Saturday (and some further questions through e-mail) so you can get to know a little bit more about J7:
CRS- Are you married and do you have any children?
J7 - Married 4 kids all daughters Naisha, Ayrelle, Dominique, and Leajanae
CRS – Who are your musical influences?
J7 - Boyz II Men, Luther Vandross & Neyo.
CRS - What's your vision of a perfect show?
J7- It would have to be a sold out MSG performing on a card with Neyo and Boys II Men.
CRS - Which member of Boyz II Men do you most style yourself after?
J7 - The lead singer. We have similiar swag and put lots of feeling into what we do.
CRS - If you weren't a performer what would you be doing?
J7 - If I wasn't a performer I would be doing marketing for music. I have a degree in accounting and in business. The back plan would be to do international music marketing.
CRS - What's your biggest vice?
J7 - My biggest vice is WOMEN
CRS – Beyonce or Holly?
J7 – A Beyonce / Holly sandwich works best for J7!
CRS - Vegas or Atlantic City?
J7 - Vegas --- The name says it all --- I'd love to have the opportunity to perform there as well!
CRS - Favorite capital region sports team?
J7 - THE CHAMPION ALBANY METRO MALLERS is my favorite team.
CRS - Favorite athlete ever?
J7 - M.J. -- He's simply the best
CRS - Batman or Incredible Hulk?
J7 – Batman, the Hulk needs anger management
CRS - What was your first car?
J7 - My first car was 98' Chevy Cavalier --- green 4 door
